Full job description

Position: Loss Prevention Agent

Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time

About the Role

Are you vigilant, detail-oriented, and passionate about safety? We are currently seeking dedicated Loss Prevention Agents to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in preventing theft, minimizing loss, and ensuring the security of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor store premises and identify suspicious behaviour

· Conduct regular security patrols and looking for potential suspects

· Make recoveries from those suspected of theft in a lawful and respectful manner

· Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records

· Work collaboratively with store management and local law enforcement as required

· Educate staff on security protocols and loss prevention best practices

Qualifications

· Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or retail is preferred

· Exceptional observation and communication skills

· Ability to remain calm under pressure and in high-stress situations

· Strong sense of integrity and professionalism

· Valid Ontario security license

· Knowledge of Canadian laws and regulations related to theft prevention is an asset

· Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
