Cuisinier / Cuisinière de camp recherché(e) pour l’été 2027 (juin à août) (English below)

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) cuisinier(ère) de camp expérimenté(e), fiable et travaillant(e) pour se joindre à notre équipe dans le cadre d’un contrat saisonnier.

Détails du poste

  • Poste saisonnier à temps plein
  • Salaire concurrentiel selon l’expérience
  • Logement et repas gratuits fournis
  • Doit être disposé(e) à déménager temporairement et à résider au camp pendant toute la durée du contrat

Responsabilités

  • Préparer et servir les repas pour le personnel du camp et les invités.
  • Maintenir une cuisine propre, organisée et conforme aux normes d’hygiène et de salubrité.
  • Surveiller les stocks alimentaires et participer à la commande des fournitures.
  • Respecter toutes les normes de sécurité alimentaire et de salubrité.
  • Tenir compte des restrictions alimentaires et des allergies, au besoin.

Exigences

  • Expérience préalable en cuisine souhaitée.
  • Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en équipe.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en organisation et en gestion du temps.
  • Une certification en salubrité alimentaire constitue un atout.
  • Doit être en mesure de fournir une vérification satisfaisante des antécédents judiciaires.
  • Doit être légalement autorisé(e) à travailler au Canada.
  • Doit être disposé(e) à résider au camp pendant toute la durée du contrat.

Exigences physiques

  • Doit être capable de soulever et de transporter des articles pesant jusqu’à 40 lb (environ 18 kg), selon les besoins liés aux tâches en cuisine, notamment la manipulation des denrées alimentaires et des livraisons.

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Camp Cook to join our team for a seasonal camp contract.

Position Details

  • Full-time seasonal position

  • Must be willing to relocate and live at camp for the duration of the contract

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals for camp staff and guests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
  • Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies as required.

Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Food safety certification is an asset.
  • Must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal record check.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Must be willing to reside at camp for the duration of the contract.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs as required for kitchen duties, including handling food supplies and deliveries.
