Safety Advisor / Coordinator (NCSO/CSO)

Currently we are looking for Safety Advisors (NCSO) / Coordinators (CSO) for a variety of projects throughout the province.

We are currently seeking Construction Safety Officers (CSOs) for projects throughout Alberta, including Calgary, Edmonton, and surrounding areas. We are looking for reliable and experienced safety professionals who are willing to travel, have their own reliable vehicle, and are available to work a 14-on/14-off rotational schedule. 12 hours shifts.

Qualifications

  • Valid Construction Safety Officer (CSO) certification or equivalent
  • Valid AFA or OFA 3 certification
  • Previous construction, industrial, or related safety experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel to various project locations
  • Ability to work a 14-on/14-off rotation Ability to work 12-hour day and/or night shifts
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Professional, reliable, and safety-focused approac

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections and identify hazards
  • Monitor and promote safe work practices
  • Support workers and supervisors with health and safety requirements
  • Participate in orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
  • Review hazard assessments, permits, and safe work procedures
  • Assist with incident and near-miss reporting
  • Monitor compliance with company and client safety requirements
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and records
  • Communicate safety concerns and corrective actions to site supervision

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and willing to travel. Accommodations are provided.

You must have your own reliable vehicle and be comfortable travelling to project locations as required.
