Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Barista/Supervisor, where you will energize our customers with exceptional coffee experiences while leading and inspiring a dynamic team. This role combines the art of crafting delicious beverages with the responsibility of supervising daily operations, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
  • Supervise team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment.
  • Manage cash handling procedures using POS systems such as TouchBistro accurately and responsibly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Handle cashiering duties including processing transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a barista (minimum 4 years) with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in the food industry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory calculations.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and health regulations.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
