Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food industry standards, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety protocols, and supporting overall restaurant management. Previous experience in restaurant management, food preparation, and hospitality environments is highly valued. The Supervisor will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and cash handling
  • Manage team members through effective scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Assist with interviewing and onboarding new staff members
  • Monitor customer service quality to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Handle POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas in accordance with safety standards
  • Support restaurant management in inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
  • Address customer concerns promptly to uphold high service standards
  • Lead by example in hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety practices
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
  • Background in restaurant management or hospitality preferred; hotel or barista experience is a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
  • Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving or kitchen work is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to interview, train, and develop staff members for success

Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour
