Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry standards, excellent kitchen skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
  • Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils
  • Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
  • Support team members during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Adhere to serving protocols, ensuring customer satisfaction with each dish served

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Familiarity with the food industry, including serving and food service procedures
