What will your typical day look like?
You will support approximately 20 Partners and their client portfolios, managing the end-to-end billing lifecycle across a diverse portfolio of engagements. As the primary billing contact, you will collaborate with Partners, Senior Managers, and engagement teams to drive billing strategy, review WIP, manage billing schedules, prepare and finalize invoices, and provide recommendations to improve Working Capital Management (WCM) performance. By building strong stakeholder relationships and proactively addressing billing matters, you will help reduce aged WIP, optimize financial results, and support the achievement of key working capital metrics.
About the team
You will be part of the broader Finance group, working within the Billing team in Central Business Services. The Billing team consists of approximately 28 professionals and supports the Audit and Tax practices across the firm. This collaborative, high-volume team partners closely with senior stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate billing services. The team also plays a key role in optimizing working capital performance.

You are someone with these required skills, experience & qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar finance-related role, preferably within a professional services or accounting firm.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple engagement portfolios simultaneously.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with large ERP systems, preferably SAP, to extract, organize, analyze, and summarize financial data; identify trends and issues; and present meaningful insights through clear and effective reporting.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including but not limited to:
- Pivot tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Data analysis and reporting
It would be great for you to have these nice to have’s as well:
- A college diploma or university degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Candidates may be required to complete an Excel assessment as part of the hiring process.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $78,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
