Role and Responsibilities:

We are currently looking to fill the permanent role of Wealth Services Supervisor. Reporting to the Manager Wealth Services, this position provides leadership, operational oversight, and compliance support to the Wealth Services team at Prosperity Credit Union. The Wealth Services Supervisor is responsible for coaching and developing Wealth Specialists, Digital Wealth Specialists, and Wealth Support Officers while ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and exceptional member experience. Advisor portfolio coverage may be required during absences as necessary. Success in this role requires strong leadership, relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.

Join our team and play a pivotal role at Prosperity as you:

Lead & Coach:

  • Coach, mentor, and support the Wealth Services team to achieve sales and referral goals while delivering exceptional member experience
  • Monitor team performance, provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities
  • Reinforce a consistent financial planning approach aligned with organizational values and ethical sales practices
  • Support regional sales meetings, training initiatives, and product knowledge development across the Wealth Services team

Drive Operational Excellence:

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes while providing training and guidance on internal procedures, compliance requirements, and the Aviso platform to ensure accurate and efficient processing
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance operational effectiveness, and strengthen the overall member experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support branch and organizational goals.

Support Strategy & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, privacy standards, AML/ATF regulations, and other regulatory requirements while escalating concerns appropriately and maintaining current compliance knowledge
  • Represent Prosperity Credit Union within the community through networking events, financial literacy initiatives, and local partnerships
  • Support business development opportunities and contribute to the strategic growth of Prosperity Credit Union.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; a minimum of 5-7 years of job-related experience, including leadership experience. Education/Training experience would be an asset.
  • A post-secondary degree and/or professional designation; or equivalent combination of education and experience is a definite asset.
  • Mutual Fund Sales License (Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC)) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management products, and services.
  • Passion for co-operative values and for involvement with the local community.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with staff, members, and community partners.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and instruction capabilities.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
