Job Description
The Liaison will focus on recruitment for Aramark camps within Quebec, with a particular focus on recruiting from the identified Indigenous communities, to increase Indigenous employment and ensure retention. This will involve attending job fairs, site visits, and visiting communities, as well as assisting with recruitment and retention. In this role, you will be required to travel frequently in remote areas to mine camps and to Indigenous communities, often bi-weekly.
Job Responsibilities
- Support recruitment efforts for remote lodging with the local Indigenous communities in Quebec.
- Assist in recruitment and retention strategies to establish and maintain Indigenous staff engagement.
- Represent Aramark by attending career fairs and other community events to increase brand awareness and knowledge of employment opportunities.
- Assist with other Indigenous Relations activities, as assigned by the National Director.
- Responsible for meeting Employment and Retention KPIs for Quebec sites as established through client, joint venture partnerships and PAIR targets.
Qualifications
Education
Grade 12, university degree preferred
Experience
- Must be bilingual in French and English.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with Indigenous engagement.
- Extensive knowledge of Indigenous training, recruitment and retention strategies.
- Extensive Knowledge of Indigenous communities and community contacts.
- Communications skills to draft recruitment plans, correspondence, newsletters and other community outreach tasks.
- Knowledge of all Safety policies and procedures. Particularly those associated with Remote work and travel.

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.
