Dental Receptionist – Future Leadership & Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Receptionist who is interested in developing their leadership skills and growing into a future management position within our dental practice.

The ideal candidate will be confident using Dentrix, have strong communication and organizational skills, and enjoy supporting both patients and team members. This position is well suited for someone who takes initiative, solves problems proactively, and is eager to continue learning and advancing professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and provide an excellent patient experience
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an efficient daily schedule
  • Use Dentrix confidently for scheduling, patient records, billing, and account management
  • Coordinate insurance estimates, predeterminations, claims, and patient payments
  • Follow up on treatment plans, outstanding balances, and unscheduled appointments
  • Communicate effectively with dentists, clinical team members, and patients
  • Help maintain efficient front-desk systems and office procedures
  • Support and guide other team members when required
  • Assist with resolving patient concerns professionally
  • Gradually take on additional leadership and administrative responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Previous dental reception experience is required
  • Strong working knowledge of Dentrix is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
  • Natural leadership qualities and the confidence to take initiative
  • Willingness to accept feedback, learn new skills, and continuously improve
  • Interest in growing into an office management or leadership position
