Full job description

Avid Energy Services Inc is looking for a Receptionist/Admin who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting to join our team! We are planning to train in safety and orientations/on boarding as well. As the ideal candidate, you possess exceptional communication and time management skills, ability to determine work priorities and experience in ensuring confidentiality in all your work. Reporting to the COO in the Slave Lake head office, the Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative and office support activities for the High Prairie location as well as onboarding new employees and assigning crew trucks.

This is a permanent full-time position and is based on eighty hours bi-weekly. Office Hours are 8:00-5:00 Monday to Friday.

KEY

RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer and direct general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Reply to general information requests with accurate information.Greet visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner.

Sort incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries for distribution.

Prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail and packages.

Forward incoming general e-mails and calls to the appropriate staff member.

Data entry and upkeep of the organization’s databases, ensuring a high level of accuracy. Perform clerical duties, such as word processing, spreadsheet, database or presentation software to prepare reports, memos, letters and other documents.

Make travel arrangements, prepare expense reports, order and maintain office supplies.

Operate and maintain personal office space, staff room, office equipment such as fax machines, photocopiers, voice mail messaging systems and computer scanning equipment.

Train under safety officer to learn safety and be able to do employee orientation/on boarding.

KEY

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent is required

One to three years of clerical or administrative support experience is an asset

Experience handling phone systems, handling correspondence, and maintaining office supplies and organization

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office. (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
