Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of daily office functions, providing exceptional administrative support and maintaining an efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to help keep our office running seamlessly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while gaining valuable experience in office administration.

Duties and essential job functions:

  • Must be diligent, accurate and organized in all aspects of the position.
  • Must have good time management skills with the ability to prioritize important tasks.
  • Ability to multitask and handle changing from one task to another without issues.
  • Be self motivated and work well alone.
  • Data entry for multiple companies.
  • Track costs for various jobs and divisions
  • Answer phones when needed
  • Act as a backup for other departments as needed
  • Provide training for industry specific applications
  • Follow up with drivers for required information

Qualifications:

· High school diploma (GED or equivalent)

· Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration would be an asset

· Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong work ethic and reliability.

· Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel Spreadsheets.

· Strong communication skills.
