Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Dishwasher/Prep Cook, where your energy and attention to cleanliness will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. In this vital role, you will ensure the kitchen remains spotless, organized, and ready for service, while assisting with food preparation to support our culinary team. Your dedication to food handling, sanitation, and efficient kitchen operations will contribute to a welcoming and high-quality hospitality environment. Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies under supervision.
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed at all times to promote a safe dining environment.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are readily available for cooking and serving.
  • Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to uphold cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
  • Monitor inventory levels of dishware, utensils, and cleaning supplies; notify management when restocking is needed.
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent contamination or accidents in the kitchen.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling practices, and kitchen safety standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and organization.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy shifts.
  • Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to adapt and grow is essential!
