Cashier/Sandwich Maker

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role involves preparing delicious sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and managing transactions accurately in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong multitasking skills, and have a passion for delivering a positive dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders and payments
• Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling items when appropriate
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Ensure food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene and safety regulations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen duties when required
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally

Qualifications

• Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards is advantageous
• Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if needed
• A positive attitude, team player mentality, and a commitment to food safety standards
• 6 Month - 1Year of fast food experience from Burger King, Wendy's, A&W or McDonald is preferred.

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
