Full job description
We are looking for a driven Junior Recruiter/Account Manager to become part of our team. While our headquarters are in Toronto, ON, this position is fully remote, allowing you to work from home. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, solid math abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for specific openings, from crafting job ads and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews. You'll build genuine connections with job seekers, understand their backgrounds, and align them with suitable roles. Candidates with at least one year of recruitment or sales experience will be given preference. You'll also work with clients to understand their staffing needs and communicate those to our recruitment team. Our company is based in Toronto, ON, and this role is fully remote. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. If you are outside the Eastern Time Zone, you will need to adjust your schedule accordingly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Collaborate with the account team to define open roles and present top candidates to clients - Screen and conduct initial interviews using behavioral and competency-based methods to provide a shortlist for client review - Build and maintain a network of technical candidates - Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned positions, from posting job descriptions to candidate onboarding - Partner with client hiring managers to gather job requirements and expectations - Respond to inquiries about our services via phone, email, and social media - Develop strong relationships with client hiring managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders - Conduct regular check-ins with hiring managers and candidates to ensure timely recruitment - Thoroughly evaluate candidates against job requirements - Work with candidates and clients to secure signed documentation for all placements - Prospect for new business related to staffing needs through phone, email, and other digital channels QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS - 1-2 years of recruitment or sales experience (note: customer service roles are not considered sales) - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-based project skills - Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced setting - Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Meet - Results-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and thrive under pressure - Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately - Willingness and ability to write job descriptions (candidates who dislike writing or have a 'cut and paste' approach will not be considered) - Preference for those who can demonstrate above-average math skills ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS A desktop or laptop with a working webcam and a mobile phone no older than 5 years (2021 model or newer).
