Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our inventory is well-organized and readily available for our operations. You will play a crucial part in maintaining stock levels, managing vendor relationships, and supporting the overall supply chain process. This position requires a proactive approach to inventory management and a strong understanding of various systems related to procurement and sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the stocking and replenishment of inventory to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing and terms for procurement.
• Utilize ERP systems and MRP tools to track inventory levels and manage orders effectively.
• Assist in sourcing materials and supplies necessary for manufacturing operations.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, pricing, and vendor information.
• Participate in vendor management activities to foster strong relationships and ensure quality supply chains.
• Support purchasing activities by providing insights on stock requirements and vendor performance.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.

Skills

• Proficient in SAP and other ERP systems related to inventory management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.
• Experience in vendor management, including negotiation skills for effective procurement.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and market trends impacting inventory costs.
• Familiarity with MRP concepts to optimize stock levels based on demand forecasts.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
