Housekeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation are consistently met. Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels as needed
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products
• Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Maintain a neat and organized work environment to ensure efficiency
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to protect oneself and guests

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for new hires
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and moving furniture or supplies
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
