Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Take Out Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that helps our guests enjoy their take-out orders with ease and efficiency. You’ll handle phone orders, assist with packaging, and ensure every guest receives top-notch service in a lively, welcoming environment. If you love working with people, have a knack for hospitality, and enjoy fast-paced settings, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist them with placing take-out orders via phone or in person.
  • Use POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and package food orders carefully to ensure quality and presentation meet standards.
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to confirm order details and special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the take-out area, including packaging stations and work surfaces.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items and order status.
  • Follow proper phone etiquette and hospitality practices to create a positive experience for every guest.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor to engage with guests effectively.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, food handling, and safety regulations is beneficial.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Customer service skills that emphasize patience, professionalism, and hospitality.
  • Experience in hotel or food service environments can be an advantage.
