Food Delivery Driver

Company: OnTheWay Delivery

Job Type: Independent Contractor
Pay: $4.99–$10.00 per completed delivery + 100% of customer tips

OnTheWay Delivery is looking for reliable independent courier drivers to help deliver food orders in our first launch zone in Woodstock NB and Florenceville-Bristol NB. Work on your own schedule, switch driver app on when willing to accept orders, get paid per order delivered.

This is a flexible courier opportunity for drivers who have their own vehicle, a smartphone, and want flexible income by completing local deliveries. Couriers use the OnTheWay driver app to receive delivery opportunities, pick up food orders from local restaurants, and deliver them to customers within approved delivery zones.

We are building a local delivery service for communities that currently have limited delivery options. Our first delivery launch zone will begin in Woodstock and Florenceville-Bristol, with more zones, stores, and locations coming soon.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up food orders from local restaurants and businesses.
  • Deliver orders to customers safely and on time.
  • Use the OnTheWay driver app to manage delivery opportunities.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, restaurant staff, and support.
  • Handle food carefully during pickup and delivery.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Report delivery issues, delays, or incorrect order information when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and reliable vehicle.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Reliable vehicle.
  • Valid vehicle registration.
  • Smartphone with data access.
  • Good knowledge of Florenceville-Bristol and nearby areas.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Reliable, professional, and punctual.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Proof of proper auto insurance coverage for paid delivery, courier work, or business-use driving is required before approval.
  • Driver abstract may be required.
  • Background check may be required.

Insurance Requirement

Applicants must confirm that their auto insurance allows paid delivery, courier work, or business-use driving. Standard personal auto insurance may not be enough for delivery work.

Proof of proper insurance coverage is required before applicants are approved to complete deliveries through OnTheWay.

Compensation

  • $4.99–$10.00 per completed delivery.
  • Drivers keep 100% of customer tips.
  • Additional incentives may be offered during launch periods or busy delivery windows.

Schedule

This is a flexible independent courier opportunity for our first delivery launch zone in Woodstock and Florenceville-Bristol, NB.

Delivery demand is expected to be highest during lunch and dinner periods:

  • Lunch: approximately 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Dinner: approximately 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

As OnTheWay expands, more delivery zones, stores, and locations are expected to become available.

Delivery opportunities depend on customer demand, active delivery zones, and courier availability.
