Position Details:

• Position: Tactical Security and Patrol Guard
• Location: Belleville, ON
• Site Type: Mall
• Schedule: Morning, evening, and overnight shifts
• Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week
• Salary: $18.20/hr starting

Basic Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid Ontario G Class Driver LIcence
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Previous Security Guard experience is an asset
• Must be able to do any shifts which include Days, evenings and night shifts or rotation shifts.
• Required to stand and patrol for long periods.
• Customer Service Skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Working knowledge of computer application skills
• Working Conditions
• Required to work, if necessary, various rotating shifts on short notice and be available for work in a 24x7x365 environment.

Major responsibilities include:

• Ideal entry-level position for a career in Law Enforcement
• Back-up support - respond to calls and provide support as required/needed.
• Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner
• Maintain the peace, safety, and security of all patrons, and clients on the property
• Respond to all emergency response needs such as providing first aid, missing persons, etc.
• Helping visitors and answering any questions or concerns with exceptional customer service
• Assist with Fire & Life Safety inspections
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems
• De-escalate emergency/crisis situations
• Maintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all matters dealt with
• Obtain statements and collect information for Incident
