Customer Service Representative – Transportation Industry

VA is currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for both customers and drivers, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and a high level of service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, including pickup requests, shipment tracking, urgent situations, and complaint resolution
  • Respond to driver communications regarding OS&D (Over, Short & Damaged freight), delays, and operational issues
  • Accurately document all interactions and cases in accordance with company procedures and service standards
  • Perform daily follow-ups on all open files (claims, customer requests, ongoing investigations, etc.) to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain and update customer records and system information to ensure data accuracy
  • Identify recurring issues and trends, and proactively recommend process improvements to management
  • Prepare and submit reports required by management within established deadlines

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Customer Service in the transportation industry
  • Available to work from 10h00AM to 18h30PM
  • Bilingual (French and English to support customers all over Canada)
  • Knowledge of AS400
  • Mastery of Office Suite (Excel, Word etc...)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on service quality
