Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Signage Production Manager to streamline our design, production and installation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong mechanical and signage production knowledge. You’ll make sure all projects are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the production team to achieve operational goals and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Implement process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste across all production lines.
  • Oversee the assembly and fabrication of products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Supervise all production areas: fabrication, printing, vinyl, CNC, UV print, laser cutting, assembly, and installation preparations
  • Actively participate in hands-on production work as needed.
  • Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
  • Manage supplies to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources necessary for production.
  • Monitor production metrics, analyze performance data, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that the production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing budgets with both clients and managers
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in production processes and safety protocols.
  • Review worker performance and identify training needs

Requirements

  • Proven 3+ years experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role within the signage industry.
  • Industry related work experience, especially in production, procurement and logistics would be considered an asset
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with sales, design, production and installation teams.

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Signage Industry: 3 years (preferred)
