(Food Services Manager)
We are looking for an experienced Food Services Manager for Sofia Restaurant & Bar location at 99 Yorkville Ave, Toronto, ON M5R 1C1, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
- Direct and oversee the food and beverage operations, including its refined Italian menu, signature cocktails, and curated wine program, to ensure premium guest experiences.
- Develop and implement service standards and operational protocols that support high-quality execution of seasonal Italian cuisine, antipasti, pasta, seafood, and beverage offerings.
- Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house, bar, and kitchen support staff to consistently deliver elevated hospitality aligned with brand expectations.
- Plan and manage staff schedules and labour allocation for dinner, weekend brunch, and late-night bar service to ensure seamless coverage during peak service periods.
- Control inventory, purchasing, and cost management for specialty Italian ingredients, premium wines, and cocktail spirits to maintain product quality and financial targets.
- Monitor and analyse departmental revenues, labour costs, and operating expenses to optimize profitability while preserving restaurant’s culinary and beverage standards.
- Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate procurement agreements for authentic Italian food products, high-end wines, and beverage supplies that support the restaurant’s menu offerings.
- Ensure compliance with public health, food safety, workplace safety, and liquor service regulations governing restaurant and bar operations.
- Evaluate guest feedback and implement service improvement strategies that enhance the upscale dining and beverage experience.
- Prerequisites:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- Experience & Skills: 5 years or more of experience in the Food Industry.

- Hourly Rate: $36.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
- Starting Date: As soon as possible
- Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
- Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
