Maintenance Electrician

We are currently recruiting for a full time Maintenance Electrician.

JOB DUTIES

• Service and perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on all production equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical problems to provide quick resolution and minimal downtime on equipment
• Assemble, rebuild, adjust production equipment
• Welding, machining and analytical problem solving
• Ensure safe and efficient working order of all equipment in the facility
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience as a Licensed Electrician; 442 A
• Experience with PLC - Ladder Logic, VFD and Industrial automation to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Must have own tools to repair equipment
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a bakery
• Must have an in depth understanding of mechanics, welding and electrical
• Extensive knowledge of electronics and PLC technologies and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety and Lockout Procedures
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English
• Ability to manage time effectively with a high attention to detail and accuracy
• Refrigeration Class “B” or Industrial Electrical license would be considered an asset
