With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring for various administrative positions at our offices in both Brantford & Vittoria, ON. Applicants to this job posting may find themselves in a data entry role within our Logistics, or Safety departments depending on skillset, interest and hiring needs.

Logistics and supply-chain experience is NOT a requirement; we hire for attitude and work ethic.

THE ROLE

The Operations Coordinator role is an entry-level position performing tasks ranging from inputting and updating information into a database, phone and email communication, and other administrative duties as required. Solid verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position as you are a critical member of our team interacting with various levels of the supply chain.

  • Knowledge MTO and DOT regulations is an asset

  • Written and verbal communication skills in multiple languages are considered an asset, but not required

Work experience in customer-facing roles from the following industries is welcomed and appreciated: hospitality, retail, tele-communications, banking and logistics.

HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN

  • Processing paperwork submitted by drivers and employees
  • Communicating with co-workers, drivers and/or applicants daily
  • Communicate with drivers to obtain and provide information regarding driving records, driving qualifications, and work history
  • Ensure driver records in accordance with Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) and Department of Transportation (DOT)
  • Conduct work history checks to verify accuracy, work ethic, and skill of driver applicants
  • Schedule driver road test evaluations for applicants and the road test evaluator.
  • Providing top-notch customer service to Scotlynn’s carrier base, customer base and employees
  • Helping to resolve issues with constant professionalism, insight and courtesy
  • Performing other duties as required

YOUR COMMITMENT

  • This is a full-time, permanent role
  • Work in office from 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
  • After-hours may be required depending on the department you are hired for
