Full job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need of medical assistance.

Please note this position is only open for residents of the Sunshine Coast.

Duties:
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Utilize medical terminology and documentation systems to accurately record patient information
- Conduct Health Assessments and/or Mobility-Cognitive Assessments throughout the Coast

Skills:
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care
- Experience in senior care and understanding of the unique needs of elderly patients
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and Portals
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
