Indeed has released its inaugural Better Work Awards, honouring the Top 10 Companies for Work Wellbeing in Canada.

The awards are based on the world’s largest study of work wellbeing. The study measures the insights from millions of employees who rate and review their company on Indeed each year, including rating their work wellbeing across four key indicators: happiness, stress, satisfaction and purpose.

Research shows work wellbeing — or how employees feel at work — is rising, especially among younger generations.1 Indeed believes everyone deserves to thrive at work and employees thrive when they have high wellbeing. In a recent study, 84% of Canadian workers stated that they believed it is important to find companies that care about how they feel.2

“Finding the right job today remains challenging. But what we know is that people want to work for an employer that puts them first. Indeed’s Better Work Awards winners stand out from the rest for truly prioritizing work wellbeing,” said Priscilla Koranteng, Indeed’s Chief People Officer. “When employers create better work, in turn, it leads to better lives for their employees. Congratulations to all of this year’s winning employers.”
