Stretch Practitioner (Independent Contractor) – Verve Mobility & Recovery

Hours/week: Up to 15 hours/week

Verve Movement is expanding. With the launch of Verve Mobility & Recovery, we’re creating a premium stretch and recovery studio inside one of Ottawa’s most newest multidisciplinary performance and recovery clinics— and we’re looking for passionate movement professionals to join us.

About the Role

We are seeking Stretch Practitioners (Independent Contractors) with FST Level 1 (Stretch To Win) and a background in health, movement, or rehabilitation. You’ll deliver one‑on‑one FST sessions and grow your own client base with the support of our team.

This is a premium, clinic‑based stretch role where your skills are valued — and compensated accordingly.

What You’ll Do

• Provide one‑on‑one FST sessions
• Help clients improve mobility, reduce tension, and enhance recovery
• Educate clients on breath, movement, and body awareness
• Build and manage your own schedule within available clinic hours
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that supports your growth

Who We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates include:

• Fascia Stretch Therapists (FST)
• Registered Kinesiologists (RKin)
• Students of the following programs (Chiro, Physio, Massage, Kinesiology, Fitness and Health Promotion)
• Personal Trainers (CSEP)

Requirements:

• Must have FST Level 1 certification (Stretch To Win)
• Degree in Kinesiology, Health Sciences, Phys Ed, Health Promotion, or related
• Professional and Commercial general liability insurance
• Level 3 Vulnerable Sector Check
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Passion for mobility, recovery, and client‑centred care

Compensation

$60-78 per session hour, depending on credentials.

You’ll have the autonomy to build your own caseload, with the benefit of a steady referral stream from our established clinical team.
