Position Summary:
This position services our harvesting department, and requires working at a fast pace, heavy lifting up to 50lbs and being able to lift weight overhead.
1. General Duties:
- Sets up mushrooms houses and equipment for Harvesters
- Provides supplies and removes mushrooms from trolley, floor Harvesters or chutes as required
- Carries mushrooms and stacks on skids
- Removes mushroom stems and mushroom waste from the room and harvesters
- Cleans floors, rooms and hallways during and at the end of the harvest day
- Delivers skids of empty boxes / lugs / trays to the harvest rooms in a timely manner
- Performs any other duties as assigned
2. Leadership & Code of Conduct:

- Develop and actively foster an engaged work force, displaying professionalism at all times
3. Safety:
- Adheres to the Safety Policies, including use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment
- Reports unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor
- Reports all incidents, injuries and near misses to the supervisor immediately
- Cooperates in the Early and Safe Return to Work Program if an injury or medical illness requires accommodation
4. Food Safety:
- Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) as trained
5. Quality:
- Adheres to all quality standards per customer specifications
Vacancies: 15
Hours of Work:
- 5 - 6 days/week.
- Approximately 30 to 60 hours per week / 8 to 14 hours per day.
- Public holidays/weekends as scheduled.
- Daily shift start and end times for associates vary based on production.
Earnings:
- $18.19 per hour

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without restrictions.
