Position: Inventory Controller (Union)

Shift: Monday to Friday 9am-6:30pm

Wage: $27.86 per hour

Vision Truck Group is currently seeking an Inventory Controller to join our Brampton team. Our ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to learn on the job. Experience working at the parts counter of a dealership, inventory management, Excel, and office administration would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
• Analyze and report on inventory levels, trends, and discrepancies.
• Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels, reduce stockouts and overstocking, and improve overall inventory management.
• Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
• Execute regular returns to maintain health inventory and minimize obsolescence.
• Interpret and decipher special orders from sales team and efficiently procure parts from suppliers.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and physical counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
• Maintain inventory management systems and databases.
• Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records, including transfers and cycle counts.
• Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports; review reports monthly with management.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in warehousing and logistics.
• An additional two years of experience at retail and/or wholesale parts counters.
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, and other standard software/technology.
• Exceptional organization and communication skills.
