Horror story management, revolving door company
Mechanic (Current Employee) –  Etobicoke, ON18 January 2020
Etobicoke location is going downhill. Theres no work, our then-foreman, now new manager has zero experience working as a mechanic, and it shows. Will lie to get her way and customers try to avoid her.

No wonder the shop has no work when management doesnt care about the customers or their employees, and are rude to their customer base even when its their mistakes theyre being rude about.

Management took away bonus with no warning, all senior mechanics have left, shop is mostly unlicensed apprentices being put thru a revolving door. No one is happy
Pros
Coworkers are nice and like to help, shop is usually clean
Cons
Management does not care at all about you, no work, no night shift premium, all senior techs are gone, managers/supervisors are inexperienced

Pathetic place to work. Lacks business
Technician (Former Employee) –  Etobicoke, ON25 December 2019
In one word - Pathetic - The place has no business. One truck comes in and 5 of us jump on it. It is so boring place for a new apprentice. No good techs available to teach new apprentices like me. All the good staff left when their very old manager left and their business left with him. The new manager worked for a year and then left. New apprentices for one year become foreman. The service advisor is becoming service manager in two years and does not know how to manage and no experience. All good experienced techs left with good manager or to Transit. If you need experience this is not the place. No trucks come in. The director is terrible. Very arrogant with techs and no regard for people. All there is processes and no trucks to work on. Go to another Volvo dealer they are very busy,,, that is what I did after one year

310T tech
Mechanic Apprentice (Former Employee) –  Cambridge, ON20 December 2019
Management is horrible they dont know whats going on half the time. Just like the other guy said your tool box has wheels and they will allow you to use those wheels. Stay away from this place as you will not be appreciated for the work you do. If your not dutch you are already on the hot seat to get fired. Horrible place for apprentices.

bad management. very inexperienced.
310T Apprentice (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON13 November 2019
There is no room to grow in this company. The company is very cheap so don't expect to get paid fairly. No employee team building what so ever. You are basically just a number to them and they have no regard for you as a person. The upper management is quick to terminate you and does not bother to even speak with or even acknowledge the employees (mechanics). Management is terrible and lets not forget to mention the rude and inexperienced (this is an understatement) foremen running the show. They are just about ripping people off. If you do end up here you will end up questioning why you got into the trade in the first place.

Service Advisor (Former Employee) –  Etobicoke, ON18 September 2019
If you want to work in a place that’s run like a high school classroom, it’s the place for you.
Be ready to be blamed for things out of your control.

An impressive company with horror story management.
Warranty Administrator (Former Employee) –  Etobicoke2 September 2019
Decent looking workplace but everything else leaves a lot to be desired. Easy to get ran into the ground and messed around by the horrendous management. Particularly the middle management who are truly fascinating. Service, Parts and Warranty are all led by the incompetent, the lazy and the stupid. Toxic environment where nothing gets resolved, just brushed over. Good for technicians maybe, otherwise the job is a ridiculous Groundhog Day operation

WAS a good company
Technician (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON29 August 2019
Worked here for over 8 years.Management was great. Family owned and family was great to work for. Few years ago changed hands and has gone down very much. Owner has no say in the operation of company. Maybe choice or being wimpy. Everything is run by the service head and all good staff left. He harasses staff and managers. Benefits and pay are good. Don't apply.
Pros
Salary and benefits
Cons
Poor senior management

Very negative environment, don’t recommend techs to apply.
310t Tech (Former Employee) –  Cambridge, ON11 March 2019
After reading the last two reviews I was very disappointed with the false information. This place is good if you need any kind of job. Don’t expect good anything, wages, benefits, etc. I was a 310t tech here for years, and quiting this job was the best thing I ever did to advance my career. If you enjoy being insulted pretty much every day for good work, it’s the place for you I guess. Seen nice guys come through but maybe didn’t have the experience that they expected and were easily let go. It’s an environment you have to perform. Expect to work nights and weekends unless that’s changed. Long hours but that’s pretty normal for techs anywhere. Lots of overtime was the only plus.
Pros
Overtime
Cons
No respect towards techs

The best company I have ever worked for. Strong team environment. Strong Forward Thinking Leadership. If you like to work long and hard this is a good company, average day is 9 hours, usually plenty of overtime. Vacations are standard. management tend to be firm, fair and often flexible.
Pros
Industry Leading, Visionary Leadership, Strong Brands
Cons
High Stress and and High output Culture can discourage at times
