Full job description

Job Title: Developer Analyst (Level 3)

Job Type: 3-month Contract (possibility of extension)

Location: 370 7 Ave SW, Calgary, AB (1 day remote per week)

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Rate: $65/hr Inc.

Summary

Hands-on Developer Analyst supporting the Application enhancements + integration backlog for the development, automation, and integration of enterprise legal applications across document management, billing, and internal business systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance internal applications (Power Platform, .NET)
  • Build and maintain integrations across:

o iManage / SharePoint / document systems

o Billing platforms (Intapp, Elite)

  • Develop workflow automation (Power Automate, scripting)
  • Support data flows, reporting, and backend processing (SQL / Fabric)
  • Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance
  • Collaborate with legal, KM, and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to API-based integrations and system interoperability

Qualifications:

· Must have 5–8+ years of application development experience with Microsoft stack:

o Power Apps / Power Automate

o Azure (App Services, Functions, integrations)

  • Legal tech experience (iManage, Intapp, Litera)
  • Must have Microsoft Fabric / data platform exposure
  • Advanced SQL (queries, data modelling, troubleshooting)
  • API integration experience
  • Scripting (PowerShell or similar)
  • Experience in enterprise / regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder communication (non-technical users, lawyers)
  • Document automation / workflow tooling experience
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PIPEDA, GDPR)
  • Financial services or legal industry background

Tech Environment:

  • Platforms: Azure, Power Platform
  • Systems: iManage, SharePoint, Intapp
  • Languages: SQL, .NET, PowerShell
  • Tools: Azure DevOps, Git
  • Delivery: Agile / hybrid

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Calgary, AB T2P 2Y9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
