About the Role
Securiguard is hiring Security Guards to join our team. In this customer-facing role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where professionalism, communication, and teamwork are valued.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence to help ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Conduct regular patrols and routine site inspections.
- Perform lock and unlock procedures as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and members of the public.
- Monitor for safety and security concerns and respond in accordance with site procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors using two-way radios.
- Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Respond to incidents and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Follow site policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Comfortable using two-way radio communication.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
