Full job description

We are a commercial lighting design and procurement company, known throughout the industry for their professional and dynamic approach with an emphasis on high-end and specification grade luminaires.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain proper files for projects, providing reports and updates to colleagues, customers & vendors, as required
  • Process incoming customer orders and create corresponding vendor purchase orders
  • Prepare and submit shop/submittal drawings for approval
  • Review returned approval drawings, ensuring accuracy on all details
  • Process all incoming customer purchase orders and generate corresponding purchase orders to vendors
  • Track and expedite vendor orders for shipping
  • Process add/delete prices on change orders
  • Communicate delivery information and project updates to vendors, customers, clients and colleagues
  • Follow-up on all ‘on hold’ orders to ensure prompt release of items on order
  • Provide basic technical support to customers and contractors
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with manufacturers and clients
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of our industry and products

Preferred qualifications;

  • College or University education.
  • 2-5 years in a customer service and/or project coordinator role.
  • Experience in the lighting industry would be a definite asset.
  • Experience reviewing construction plans, specifications, and other related construction documents would be a definite asset.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, with superior telephone etiquette.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to self-manage and work within deadlines, with a high level of emphasis placed on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Resourceful, flexible, reliable and hardworking.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
