Role Description

The firm’s thriving business law department has an opening for a corporate and commercial lawyer with an opportunity to develop a successful business law practice in a wonderful community. The successful candidate would advise small, medium and large privately-owned businesses and not-for-profit/charitable organizations on various matters including the following:

  • Mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements including, without limitation, leases and shareholders agreements
  • Assisting clients with business structuring and incorporating companies
  • Incorporating and advising not-for-profit and charity organizations
  • Implementing corporate reorganizations and amalgamations
  • Financing transactions

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in corporate and commercial law
  • Called to the Bar in Ontario

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
