Full job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced K-pop/Hip Hop/Jazz dance instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dance, capable of teaching dances to students of all ages and skill levels, and dedicated to fostering a positive and inspiring learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct K-pop/Hip Hop/Jazz dance classes, catering to beginner through advanced students.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and dance curricula.
  • Prepare students for performances, recitals, and competitions.
  • Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and energetic classroom atmosphere.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help students enhance their technique and confidence.
  • Ensure the dance studio remains a safe and well-maintained environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest dance trends and teaching methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and development.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience teaching dance or in a similar role.
  • Certification or degree in dance, education, or a related field.
  • Ability to engage and teach students of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about dance education.
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus (optional).
