Full job description

Bespoke Metrics is a rapidly growing data analytics company revolutionizing risk management in the construction industry. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Toronto, we have quickly expanded to over 80 employees and have built a strong client base across North America.

Our flagship product, COMPASS, is a leading cloud-based platform designed to optimize subcontractor risk management. Through standardized prequalification, intelligent data collection, and seamless ERP integrations, we empower construction stakeholders to make smarter, data-driven decisions across the supply chain.

About the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Senior Associate with 3-5 years of experience who is curious, relationship-focused, and motivated to drive growth. This is a high-impact, collaborative role where you will take ownership of pipeline generation, build meaningful client relationships, and contribute directly to expanding our presence across North America.

This role is based in our downtown Toronto office. We value in-person collaboration while offering flexibility through a manager-approved work-from-home policy.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Pipeline Development:

  • Identify, research, and engage potential clients, with a focus on General Contractors and key decision-makers across North America.
  • Build, manage, and continuously refine a high-quality prospect pipeline aligned with business development goals.
  • Execute strategic outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn) to generate qualified opportunities and schedule product demos.
  • Develop tailored messaging and outreach strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates.

CRM & Insights:

  • Own and maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce, ensuring consistency, completeness, and actionable insights.
  • Analyze outreach and pipeline performance, providing regular reporting and recommendations to optimize results.
  • Partner with leadership to track key metrics and support data-driven decision-making.

Sales and Marketing Enablement:

  • Create and customize compelling sales materials and presentations to support product demos and client conversations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales to align messaging, campaigns, and lead generation strategies.
  • Provide feedback from prospects and clients to inform product positioning and go-to-market efforts.

Client Engagement & Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and positioning solutions effectively.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and senior sales team members to transition qualified opportunities.
  • Represent the company in webinars, demos, and industry events, contributing to brand visibility and lead generation.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related client-facing role.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, manage a pipeline, and meet or exceed activity targets.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach.

What we offer:

  • Early entry into a high-growth business with strong expansion plans for North America.
  • Supportive, inclusive culture with approachable leadership and flat hierarchies.
  • Clear communication around company goals, priorities, and growth plans.
  • Diverse team with varied backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
  • Regular team events that foster connection and collaboration.
  • Flexibility that respects productivity, balance, and trust.

We are committed to providing an accessible, equitable, and inclusive candidate and employee experience. We provide reasonable accommodation throughout the recruitment process and in employment. If you require accommodation please let us know, we will work with you to meet your needs.
