Full job description

Experienced coach bus driver is sought.

At least 3 years of experience. Only experience in intercity bus service will be regarded as valid experience.

Driver License 1 or 2 with air brakes is required.

Summary

As a Coach Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers while providing exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Local Manager, your core skills in commercial driving, communication, and English will be essential for ensuring a smooth journey. Your premium skills, such as experience with dealing people, abilities, will enhance the travel experience for diverse groups. Additionally, relevant skills in mechanical knowledge and teaching will support your role in maintaining the bus and educating passengers on safety protocols. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a bus while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers, including children and seniors, during boarding and disembarking.
  • Maintain mechanical knowledge to perform routine checks and minor repairs on the vehicle.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers and staff to ensure a smooth transportation experience.
  • Keep accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger counts.
  • Address any passenger inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Important note

Training rate is .45 cents per mile regardless of your experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
