Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will manage warehouse distribution, transportation, procurement, and order fulfillment processes to ensure seamless logistics operations. This role requires strong data analysis skills and experience with various logistics systems to improve efficiency and support business growth. The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating between suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and timely delivery.

Duties

  • Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials management
  • Manage transportation logistics using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimize freight routes and costs
  • Oversee procurement processes, sourcing, and pricing strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and supplies
  • Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 and other software like CMMS for inventory control, order fulfillment, and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with 3PL providers and freight carriers to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any logistical issues
  • Conduct data analysis to forecast demand planning needs and improve overall supply chain efficiency
  • Support e-commerce operations by coordinating packaging, order processing, and timely shipment of online orders
  • Maintain accurate records related to shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse activities
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to streamline logistics workflows and reduce costs

Experience

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution, supply chain management, or logistics coordination
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms
  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), freight management, and 3PL coordination
  • Strong data analysis skills for demand planning, pricing strategies, and process optimization
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and materials management
  • Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus
  • Prior experience working within e-commerce environments or using CMMS is advantageous
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
