Relativity Project Manager (Remote – Canada)

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Relativity Project Manager to support complex eDiscovery matters and serve as a trusted advisor to internal legal teams and clients. This individual will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of eDiscovery projects within the Relativity environment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, defensibility, and exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced Relativity expertise, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to oversee multiple active matters simultaneously while collaborating with attorneys, litigation support professionals, vendors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of eDiscovery matters within Relativity and RelativityOne.
  • Consult with attorneys and clients regarding project strategy, workflows, timelines, and best practices.
  • Create, manage, and maintain Relativity workspaces, user permissions, security groups, and case configurations.
  • Develop and execute review workflows, including batching, coding layouts, productions, privilege review, and quality control processes.
  • Coordinate data processing, ingestion, culling, analytics, and productions.
  • Utilize advanced Relativity functionality including:
  • Analytics
  • Active Learning
  • Structured Analytics
  • Search Term Reports
  • dtSearch
  • Concept Searching
  • Email Threading
  • Near Duplicate Identification
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide proactive communication and project updates to attorneys and clients.
  • Troubleshoot technical and workflow-related issues while identifying process improvements.
  • Ensure all projects meet defensibility, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with litigation support, IT, vendors, and outside counsel as needed.
  • Assist with development and implementation of eDiscovery best practices and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of eDiscovery project management experience.
  • Advanced experience with Relativity and/or RelativityOne.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • ESI collection and preservation
  • Data processing workflows
  • Document review management
  • Productions and privilege review
  • eDiscovery best practices
  • Experience creating and executing production specifications.
  • Strong understanding of litigation support and legal technology environments.
  • Exceptional client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) strongly preferred.
  • Relativity Certified Expert (RCE) or Relativity Specialist certifications preferred.
  • Experience supporting large-scale litigation, investigations, regulatory matters, or government reviews.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
