Company Overview
Moss Rock Medical is a busy, well-established family practice in Fairfield, serving the community with a team of seven family physicians. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate patient care in a supportive, collaborative, and welcoming work environment.

Job Responsibilities

This is a Runner MOA position providing support to physicians and administrative staff throughout the clinic. Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and assisting patients
  • Answering phones and directing calls
  • Scanning, filing, and processing medical documents
  • Preparing exam rooms and stocking supplies
  • Managing incoming faxes and mail
  • Assisting with referrals, requisitions, and other administrative tasks
  • Supporting physicians and MOAs with day-to-day clinic needs
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
  • Providing coverage for front desk and other administrative duties as required

Qualifications

  • MOA Certificate or equivalent medical office experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks
  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused
  • Experience with Med Access EMR is an asset
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset

Schedule

  • Part-time (22.5 hours/week)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
