Salary range (but not limited to):
69,200 - 84,600Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We have an exciting new opportunity in Claims for a Level I or II Accident Benefits Adjuster in one of the following offices:

What you'll do here:

Analyze and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and evaluate entitlements that are fair and equitable.
-
Communicate in a timely and respectful manner with customers, claimants, lawyers and insurers to settle claims and report findings and settlements.
-
Conduct investigations and identify additional information such as medical examinations, customer medical or employment history as required to clarify and/or justify a claim.
-
Ensure all cases are clearly documented and meet our legislative requirements.
-
Identify process improvement needs and recommend changes to policies or procedures to improve quality service and competitiveness.
What you bring to the table:

Post-Secondary Education in a health-related field or have worked in a medical setting and are proficient in understanding medical terminology.

Previous claims adjusting experience is required.
-
Accident Benefits claims handling is an asset.
-
Working toward the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
