Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and energetic Onsite IT Support technician to join our team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for maintaining and troubleshooting our onsite technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across our facilities. Your technical expertise will help keep our systems running smoothly and support our team’s productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-the-spot technical support for hardware, software, and network issues at the facility
  • Set up tablets and their associated software and programs for new staff
  • Maintain inventory and be proactive with ordering as needed to prevent operational delays
  • Troubleshoot operating systems including Windows, Microsoft365, and Trux to resolve user issues quickly
  • Manage computer networking components such as LANs, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless connections to ensure secure and reliable connectivity
  • Assist with desktop support tasks including software troubleshooting, hardware repairs, and operating system updates
  • Support the setup and configuration of new equipment and software installations for staff members
  • Collaborate with remote support when necessary to resolve complex technical problems

Experience

  • Proven experience in technical support or IT help desk roles with a focus on onsite troubleshooting
  • Confident in self-managing to complete tasks and provide updates
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, firewall configuration, VPN access, and wireless networking
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Office suite

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
