Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety standards. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all food is cooked properly and presented attractively
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
  • Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation and food industry practices
