Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and possess a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and meets our high standards for quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
