Full job description
Rubble Rock and Gem is looking for a confident, personable live sale host to sell crystals, gemstones, jewelry and related products online.
We have a dedicated live sale space with a large display table, good lighting, cell phones and all necessary equipment provided. The room is stocked with our inventory, and you will have freedom to arrange the table and select products based on your own selling style.
Live sales may be hosted on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Whatnot, RedNote or other suitable platforms.
Two Ways to Work With Us
Hourly Position:
Work as a representative of Rubble Rock and Gem using our platforms, accounts and existing audience. Pay ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, depending on experience and ability.
Commission-Based Position:
Use your own platforms, following or customer base and receive an agreed percentage of the products sold. This option is best suited to someone who already has an online audience or experience running live sales.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to be on camera, present the products, interact with viewers and make sales. You will also need to keep an accurate record of which customer purchased each item.
Our staff handles the rest, including packing, shipping, customer pickup and order fulfillment. We can ship orders anywhere in the world.
Schedule
This is a flexible, part-time position, generally one to three days per week.
You can largely set your own schedule. During the first month, we will work more closely with you while trust and a reliable system are established. After that, you will have considerable freedom to choose when you host your live sales.
We are not interested in micromanaging the process. As long as the live sales consistently generate enough revenue to cover your wages and the related selling and fulfillment expenses, we are happy to give you freedom over your schedule, table layout, product selection and selling style.
Experience with livestreaming, social media, retail or sales is helpful. Product knowledge can be taught, but you must be comfortable speaking on camera and engaging with an audience.
