Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Executive to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting financial operations across the organization. Your proactive approach and expertise in accounting software will ensure seamless financial processes, timely reporting, and compliance with organizational policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial health and growth through diligent bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and effective management of accounts payable and receivable.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies promptly.
  • Conduct account analysis to monitor financial performance, identify variances, and support budgeting efforts.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for management review.
  • Assist in payroll processing by verifying employee hours, deductions, and benefits using appropriate payroll systems.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with precise account reconciliation and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to analyze financial data accurately and prepare comprehensive reports for management decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
