Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to sanitation standards.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are presented attractively.
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards throughout food preparation and service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong background in food service or the food industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Strong time management abilities to handle busy shifts effectively.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
