Overview

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of food preparation, ingredients, and allergy information to assist guests effectively
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during meals, responding promptly to requests, and resolving any issues professionally

Experience

  • Prior food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic food safety practices
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
  • Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
  • Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing payments accurately
