What is the opportunity?
As Graphic Designer for RBC Global Asset Management, you will be part of the creative team that brings our visual identity to life across all client touchpoints. In this role, you will support impactful asset design across marketing collateral, video, social media assets, print, infographics, events and communications.
You will work collaboratively with studio and stakeholders across divisions and regions, spanning the full spectrum of design production with clarity and impact. You will ensure attention to detail and creative problem-solving across all design deliverables while staying current with emerging design trends and technologies and executing with excellence.
The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design fundamentals with a commitment to brand excellence and technological curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where design directly influences how the world perceives RBC GAM.
What will you do?
- Design and update a range of marketing materials—reports, fact sheets, infographics, email campaigns, presentation decks, and collateral—on time and within brand standards
- Support video production, motion graphics, and animation campaign assets
- Design web page components, campaign and event assets including booths, banners, and signage
- Prepare all design files to production-ready standards for print, digital, or web deployment
- Manage projects through established studio workflows (Wrike), ensuring clear documentation, organization, and version control.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners throughout the production process.
- Build strong relationships and partner with internal teams throughout the creative process, fostering a collaborative environment where design excellence is championed
- Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies—including motion graphics, animation, and video production capabilities
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree or similar educational background in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro), and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint)
- 3+ years of design experience working in an in-house corporate studio setting
- Strong foundational knowledge of graphic design principles: typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing diverse design work across multiple mediums (print, digital, web)
- Proven ability to execute within brand guidelines while applying creative judgment to solve visual challenges
- Understanding of design systems and their role in maintaining consistency across touchpoints
- Experience translating business objectives into compelling visual communications
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving business needs
- Experience following workflows within project management platforms such as Wrike
- Working knowledge of print production and digital/web asset requirements
- Understanding of B2B marketing and UX design principles
- Understanding of document accessibility requirements
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of web design tools (Figma)
- Knowledge of financial services, asset management, or investment communications
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in marketing communications
- Experience designing for institutional or B2B audiences
- Familiarity with emerging design and AI technologies

Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
