Third Eye Electric Inc. is a fast-growing electrical company located in Calgary, Alberta. We are currently looking to hire experienced trades and/or electricians to become part our great team.

As an Electrical Apprentice you will help and learn from Journeyman/Journeywoman Electricians. In this role you will get the opportunity to grow within your role and increase your job responsibilities as your job knowledge expands.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform semi-skilled and unskilled labor duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment

· Maintain tools, vehicles and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order

· Move tools, materials, equipment and supplies to designated work area

· Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit

· Follow established safety procedures and techniques required to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing etc.

· Perform general tasks as assigned by the Supervisor

· Assist electricians with other duties as learned and assigned

Working Conditions

· Work is physically demanding requiring the employee to lift, bend, climb, and squat often

· Work may be performed outdoors, in various weather conditions

· Work sites will vary upon site demands

Job Qualifications

· Required minimum of 1-2 years or more of construction or electrical experience

· Able to be indentured with AIT shortly after being hired

· Track record of being on time with minimum days missed

· Applicants with a driver's license will be top listed

· Has a positive can-do attitude

· Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment

· Excellent organization and time management skills

· Demonstrated ability to be dependable and punctual

· Has basic work site safety knowledge, and is safety conscious
