Manager, Product Management (Executive Thought Leadership)

What We're Looking For

The Mastercard Data & Services Global Product team is seeking a Manager, Thought Leadership Program to support the growth and evolution of Mastercard's premium thought leadership offerings across North America. This product management role sits within the Digital Safari Global Product Team and focuses on creating impactful learning experiences that help customers navigate emerging technologies, innovation, and business transformation.

The Digital Safari Program

Digital Safari is Mastercard's premium executive thought leadership program, providing insight and foresight on topics including digital transformation, AI, cybersecurity, digital assets, leadership, innovation, and emerging technology trends. The program serves C-suite executives in banking and payments through experiences with leading academics, industry experts, consultants, and innovators.

The Safari program is run across multiple global locations including Dublin, San Francisco, New York, Stockholm, Vancouver, Paris, London, Singapore and Hong Kong. Speakers include leading academics from prestigious Universities like INSEAD, Stanford, London School of Economics. Other subject matter experts are drawn from industry, fintech, research houses, consultants, innovation labs and the investment community.

As the program has grown impressively, we are seeking a product manager to help scale and enhance our North American offerings, particularly across the West Coast, Canada, and new growth markets. This role will also contribute to the development of new, scalable thought leadership products and experiences for Mastercard customers.

The Role

  • Shape the evolution and growth of Mastercard's thought leadership offerings across North America.
  • Design and enhance executive learning experiences, workshops, masterclasses, roundtables, and innovation programs.
  • Research customer needs, industry trends, and thought leadership delivery preferences to inform product strategy.
  • Develop thought leadership propositions tailored to specific customer segments and executive audiences.
  • Build and manage relationships with universities, consultants, industry experts, and innovation partners.
  • Create and maintain a network of high-quality speakers, facilitators, and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Design compelling executive programs, including themes, content, speakers, and customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify subject matter experts and expand thought leadership offerings.
  • Support business development initiatives as the thought leadership product specialist.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure program compliance and scalability.
  • Host and facilitate customer engagements, ensuring a high-quality experience that drives lasting customer value.
  • Support the design and delivery of related BMI products, including speaker series, seminars, fintech engagements, and innovation experiences.

All About You

  • Experience in Product Management, including product strategy and lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting business growth initiatives and product performance objectives.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, innovation trends, and their application within banking, payments, fintech, or technology sectors.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate insights into scalable offerings.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior executives, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in thought leadership, executive education, innovation programs, event management, consulting, or customer engagement preferred.
  • Strong network-building capabilities within innovation, technology, or fintech ecosystems preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Vancouver, Canada: $121,000 - $169,000 CAD

Toronto, Canada: $121,000 - $169,000 CAD
